Blogmass Day 3- Bookish Christmas Gifts

Hello readers!
Raise your hand if your Christmas shopping is done.
...
No one?
Don't worry, we're in the same boat.
Today's post is a list of gift ideas for the readers in your life. Whether it's a Sister in Law, a co-worker, someone from your NaNoWriMo group, or even a secret Santa exchange.
Hopefully these are useful to you.

This is my post for The Frost & Starlight box from Lit Joy crate.
Subscription Boxes

Getting a box of surprise goodies has been a hot trend in the last few years. In the last year or so, specific hot new releases have even dominated an entire one-time purchase box as well for those avid fans looking for more merch. The nice thing about these box services is you can give a gift card for a three month subscription to help your friends also gain a border-line unhealthy addiction to collecting bookish march.

This book sleeve I made myself.

Book Sleeves

Every book lover knows, protecting these precious stacks of pages is important to keeping them in pristine condition. If you plan on giving a sleeve to your bookish friend, amp it up by including your favorite current read so you guys can gush about it together.
On a budget? Try making your own! Most Ipad sleeve tutorials you can find with a quick google search can also accommodate or be modified for books! That way you can really personalize your gift by using a fabric pattern that is specific to the person you are gifting.

This is one of my Book Art Book Marks.

Bookmarks

One of my favorite gifts to receive that is super easy is a bookmark. I have been pretty creative with ways to mark my spot with a book in the past. I've dog-eared pages, I've used pieces of cardboard or paper I've just found. For the longest time I was a firm believe in just not purchasing bookmarks.

Now that I have some actual bookmarks, I appreciate them more. There are so many neat styles out there too. My personal favorite are Margaux's elastic band book marks. She has definitely grown a lot in the last year or so and offers such a wide variety of book marks. Personally, I prefer the ones with the wider band, because they sit flatter. My all time favorite book mark she's made is the dinosaur skeleton one listed on the front of her website.

Although I am showing Illuminae here, I do not
recommend reading this book on Kindle. Pick up the
physical copy.
E Readers
A super easy and awesome gift is always an E-reader. Amazon has some extremely affordable options from the Fire to the more simple Paperwhite. I've had a few different Fire's over the years, so I'm a little partial and more experienced with Amazon's products over the Nook from Barnes & Noble.
If you're looking for something more versitle, the Amazon Kindle app can be downloaded on almost any tablet devise, so even if you picked up an Ipad or a Galaxy tablet, you'd also be satiating the book worm but with more function. If I had to suggest just one e-reader, I would go with the newest Paperwhite. The Fire line is pushing too far into the tablet territory but not as functional.

Check out Amazon or Barnes & Noble for their options and any holiday sales.

I have been addicted to coffee the last few months. I've always
been a coffee and tea drinker, but the last two months,
I can't get enough.
Coffee or Tea
A quick and easy gift that I try to always have on hand is either a coffee mug, coffee, tea, or a combination of any three. You never know when you forgot someone or somebody surprises you with a gift that you weren't expected. So I grab some mugs and put some tea or coffee and make sure to keep them on hand. It's a great gift for non-readers or readers alike.
I would definitely try to figure out if the person receiving the gift has a preference. There are many people who prefer tea over coffee or vice versa.

Bones Coffee has sets of either holiday or variety packs. There mugs are super cute to boot.

Let me know some of your favorite bookish gifts for the holidays!
