Lit Joy's Limited Edition Starlight Crate

She's here! She's here!
May's most anticipated release for me was A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. I've read both of her series, the Throne of Glass and A Court of Thorns and Roses and despite the mixed reviews, I am a huge fan!
So when I found out that quite a few book subscription companies were doing limited edition crates for the release of ACOFAS, you bet I started scouring the internet. The problem I kept running into was a lot of the boxes were including the book. Your girl already pre-ordered that as I found out it was coming out so I didn't need another copy.
I came across Lit Joy crate and they had a special edition as well. I went snooping around Instagram to get an idea of what to expect from the company, since at the time I hadn't heard much.
You guys, their boxes look so epic! So of course I ordered their Starlight box in full confidence that it would be awesome.

The first thing I saw when I opened the box was this gorgeous pillow case from fellow book lover and designer, Evie-Bookish.

Next thing on top was a jewelry box, and inside was this super simple, but still super pretty necklace that says dreamer. I'm totally into simple necklaces, and this one was right up my ally.

The same day my LitJoy crate box came in, so did my pre-order pin from Bloomsbury. Now I have these two gorgeous pins for my jean jacket.I'm a little on the fence about starting a full on pin collection, but having these two on my jacket are super cute.

One of the two things I was most excited to see in this box were a candle. This one by Witchwood Candles smells soooo good and I love the dried herbs in the top. Florals are also my preferred scent in anything perfumed, so this peach blossom and jasmine is perfect.

Fortunately, the other object I really wanted aside from the candle was a mug, and I got both! This enamel mug has the beautiful artwork of Gabriella Ragusi printed around the cup. It has all of the Court of Dreams, including Feyre's sisters and even Nuala and Cerridwen.

Something I wasn't expect at all was make up. Inside was this beautiful palette of eyeshadows that are a Litjoy exclusive. All the colors are shimmery and when I finger and sponge applicator tested them, they were creamy. Typically I'm really mindful of my cosmetic purchases, since I only use items that are cruelty free, so I will have to do some research on this product to see where it comes from.

I've recently joined the world of fun bookmarks. Throughout the years I've used receipts, postcards, bandaids (still in the wrapper), and very rarely actual bookmarks. I've been picky, since big paper bookmarks are more cumbersome that useful to me, but the size of magnetic bookmarks seem so perfect. This little one is of Feyre  sitting on her throne and it is so cute. I love the detail of the character on such a small scale.

As a kid of the 90's I remember loving  quarter machines with fake tattoos. As an adult, that love hasn't disappeared, and fake tattoos are always great because there is never any regret! And from someone who made some bad tattoo decisions in the past, that's very much appreciated! These Feyre hand tattoos are from BookMark'd Tattoos

Last but not least are some included prints by Anna Shoemaker. I've seen this artwork of Rhysand floating around the internet for a while and I thinks it's beautiful. It's pretty close to what I've imagined him like in my head.

This last print is of Rhysand, and it was an add on exclusive item. This artwork is done by arz28, she has a collection of beautiful ACOTAR and TOG pieces listed on Redbubble.
