Top 5 Wednesday- Favorite Magic System

Hello readers!
Today's Top 5 Topic is Favorite Magic Systems.

This list was a lot harder than I expected, mostly because I feel like magic has so many ways to be interpret. We can believe in Salem witch magic, werewolves and vampires could operate under magic, or that super heroes technically posses magic.  For me, I think magic is specifically for witches and wizards.

1. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: This is the super obvious choice, but when you sit down and think about it, J.K.Rowling did such an amazing job at building the world of Harry Potter. I feel like Jo did her research on everything and fleshed out so much regarding magic linking everything together. It's not just tea leaves and crystal balls, theres potions, charms, magical animals. She built so much through 7 books, it's amazing.

2. Hocus Pocus: Hocus Pocus is just simply amazing because it's is a campy movie about what we traditionally thought of witches set in the most witchy location in America. Everything from the black candle to the brooms was on point.

3.Teen Witch: I remember catching this movie on TV growing up in both JR. & High School, and it's so iconic. Madame Serena was legendary, and again this movie totally played on antoher familiar form of magic by incorporating in palm reading. The most important aspect of this film is the lesson of magical consequence that our main character learns. For me, that's what stood out as the most memorial part of the movie, next to Zelda's voice.
To be quite honest, the most magical part of this film was the random dance sequence going on in the locker room.

4.The Craft: Next to Hocus Pocus, the most iconic witch movie is definitely The Craft. It's almost the older, more mature sister, since we see the same traditional witch craft in this film as well. The Craft goes over the darker side of magic though, specifically when Nancy goes too far to become the most powerful of the group.

5.The Pagemaster: For any of you 90's kids who remember this gem, you should know why this is here. A young boy is given a magic library card that opens up a magical, animated world where he is to navigate through classic, fictional literature with the three magical books assisting him. I've only seen this movie once, but I specifically remember how amazing those three sidekick books were. Since it's been 24 years, I totally think it's time for a re-vamp.

And that's my list guys! Let me know what you picked below by either commenting or linking to your post.
